Latest Season of Bridgerton to Explore Butt Stuff
Crossing that bridge.
From the bushes outside of some castle, I can now confirm the latest season of Bridgerton will introduce ass play, in an attempt to course correct after the previous two seasons left audiences soft and dry. Current showrunner, Jess Brownell, confirmed her intentions to take the show into unexplored territory, during an interview earlier this week.
“The writers have worked their butts off to make sure this season delivers,” Brownell said, returning earlier that day from a closed set, smelling of lavender and betrayal. “We listened to the audience, and it turns out those sickos just want good old English Regency era anal. That’s what we’re going to give them.”
Now in her second season as showrunner, Brownell has grown accustomed to working on the hit Netflix series.
“For this season, we pulled out all the stops,” Brownell said, before pulling out a paperback Kama Sutra and pointing at a few positions that may appear in the new season. “It’s wild to think about the things Netflix gave us the greenlight on. Some of this stuff is so raunchy. I don’t want to give too much away but be on the lookout for the Free Counterbalance position. Such a hot and loving scene.”
Brownell knows Bridgerton isn’t for everybody and that the show has been in hot water before with some of its steamier scenes.
“I need everyone to know that we’ve worked meticulously to make sure everything is done in good taste,” Brownell said, before getting into the structure of writing an ass play scene. “We’ve run everything through an intimacy coordinator who specializes in English Regency era ass play, or as they called it ‘bare bottoming’. There’s an authenticity at play here like you’ve never seen before.”
At press time Brownell teased a cunnilingus post-credits scene that took a week to film. The bush I hid in for this scoop was a Pussy Willow.
