AMC Reveals Child-Size ‘Michael’ Popcorn Bucket

From a bush outside of AMC Theaters HQ in Kansas, I can now confirm that the theater chain is getting in on the tie-in popcorn bucket, with its child-size Michael popcorn bucket. Adam Aron, AMC CEO and meme stock enthusiast, announced the MJ-inspired bucket in a YouTube video released earlier today.
“I am excited to announce today that we’re doing our very own Michael popcorn bucket,” Aron said, as he pulled out the popcorn bucket. “We saw that Marcus was doing a hat popcorn bucket and that's just lame as hell. If the kids wanted hats they’d go buy hats, Marcus. He’s so out of touch. The kids want stars and at AMC, when you see Michael, you get to take home a bust of his head that you can eat popcorn out of.”
Aron then went on to demonstrate AMC’s popcorn bucket.
“It’s state of the art. See, popcorn just goes in the top, like this,” Aron said as he poured popcorn into the bucket. “Then when you want to eat some popcorn, you just put your small hands right in his mouth and pull it out. And if your hands are a little bigger than most children, you can just press your lips to the hole and suck the popcorn right out.”
Popcorn bucket reviewers across the web jumped at the chance to grab the new movie tie-in popcorn bucket. One such reviewer isn’t so hot on the new Michael bucket.
“So, like, it's like just his head,” said Buck the Popcorn Bucket Guy, famed YouTuber who bought his mom a house last year off money from his popcorn bucket review videos. “Like sure, it holds popcorn and you can eat popcorn out of it in more than one way, but I just don’t get this one. Maybe I’ve aged out of Michael Jackson. That’s what it is. I’m just too old to get this one.”
At press time, Aron and AMC had jacked up the price of the Michael popcorn bucket as strong word of mouth drove up popcorn bucket demand. The bush I hid in for this scoop was a Butter Bush.
