John Lithgow Claims Trinity Killer's Views Have Been Twisted

“He’s just misunderstood.”

From a bush outside of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, I can now confirm that John Lithgow has come out in defense of the Trinity Killer. The actor stated in an interview to promote his role as Dumbledore in HBO Max’s Harry Potter series that he believes that the famed serial killer’s views have been twisted by his critics.

“It’s not that I don’t see where they’re coming from,” stated Lithgow. “I understand that the brutal murders that he enacted left a lot of people feeling hurt, but it’s not like he didn’t have his reasons. After all, is the Trinity Killer not a human too, is he not allowed to make mistakes every now and then? I’m not even saying that I agree with the Trinity Killer. A lot of what he’s done saddens and disappoints me but his critics have also been misrepresenting him a bit. He’s suffered some trauma in his youth and that’s just not something you overcome without killing a few innocents. People need to see his point of view as well.”

Dexter Morgan, also known as the Bay Harbor Butcher, who put an end to the Trinity Killer’s spree came out against Lithgow’s comments.

“I knew Arthur. I knew him as a colleague, as a friend and as a rival. He was a monster. Plain and simple. I used to really like and respect John Lithgow. Harry and the Hendersons is one of my favorite movies. But to see him openly defending such a person is just terrible. I’ve really lost all respect for him. Hopefully whatever amount they wrote on the check to get him to forget his morals was big.”

While most were upset by Lithgow’s comments, some came to his defense. One such person was the famed author of an anti-trans manifesto, J.K. Rowling.

“I couldn’t ask for a better person to be my new Dumbledore and it’s sad that John is being attacked by people simply because he decided to look at another person’s point of view,” Rowling said as she took deep inhales of the mysterious black mold growing all around her. “It’s a sad world we live in where a great man like John Lithgow gets his name dragged simply for asking questions.”

At press time, Lithgow stated that despite his comments he views himself as an ally of the murder victim community. The bush I hid in for this scoop was a Blue Snakeweed Bush.
